Kamikazee performs in a free concert sponsored by SuperFerry at Paseo del Mar, Zamboanga City on Saturday, November 28 at 6PM.
Tuesday Vargas will host the show called Regalo de Pascua which will also raffle off roundtrip tickets to Manila.
Kamikazee is composed of Jay Contreras (Lead Vocalist), Jomal Linao (Guitars/Back-up Vocals), Led Zeppelin Tuyay (Guitars), Jason "Puto" Astete (Bass Guitar) and Allan "Bords" Burdeos (drums). They met in college at the College of Fine Arts of the University of the Philippines Diliman.
Kamikazee released their first self titled album in 2002. In 2006, they released their second album, Maharot, with the carrier hit single 'Narda.' Recently, Universal Records released Kamikazee’s third album Long Time Noisy featuring the launching single Wala. Long Time Noisy is the band’s follow-up of its double platinum breakthrough album Maharot. Other notable cuts from the album are Ikaw, Hanggang Tingin, Eschoos Me, Hot Mami and Meron Akong Ano.
This free SuperFerry concert is the third free concert scheduled this year. Kamikazee also performed in Cebu and Bacolod early this year.
SuperFerry is mounting this project in cooperation with the City of Zamboanga led by Honorable Celso Lobregat and supported by Enchanted Kingdom . Aside from the concert, the attendees can also participate in the games and raffle prizes. Special tickets priced as low as 788 Manila to Mindanao (vice versa) can also be availed.
SuperFerry is the first carrier to accept ticket payments over the internet using the ATM PIN.
